New York Tribal Casinos & Sportsbooks Directory

Drive times from Buffalo, NYC, Albany. Gaming floor sizes, slot counts, table game inventory, sportsbook availability, and the compact frameworks for the four tribes operating in NY.

Marcus Cervantes By Marcus Cervantes · Updated

New York's tribal casino landscape is shaped by four federally-recognized tribes operating under compacts with the State of New York: the Seneca Nation of Indians, the Oneida Indian Nation, the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe, and the Cayuga Nation. Together they operate eight tribal casino venues across the state. This guide is the directory.

Seneca Nation Properties

The Seneca Nation operates three Class III casino properties under its 2002 compact (renewed 2025 after a multi-year dispute over revenue share).

Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino — Niagara Falls

The flagship Seneca property and Western New York's largest casino. Tournament poker programming runs year-round; the Seneca Niagara Poker Open in October draws 600+ field sizes for the $1,500 main event.

Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino — Salamanca

Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino — Downtown Buffalo

Oneida Indian Nation Properties

Turning Stone Resort Casino — Verona

Turning Stone is the largest tribal casino in New York by gaming floor and one of the best tournament-poker rooms in the Northeast. The Turning Stone Empire State Poker Championship in July draws WSOP-Circuit-quality fields.

YBR Casino & Sports Book — Chittenango

Point Place Casino — Bridgeport

Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe Property

Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort — Hogansburg

Akwesasne is the most isolated of the New York tribal properties geographically — far from any major population center but a destination for Adirondack-area bettors and a meaningful draw from Montreal.

Cayuga Nation Properties

Lakeside Entertainment — Union Springs

The Cayuga Nation property is the smallest tribal gaming venue in New York. The tribe has been pursuing a larger Class III compact for over a decade but the negotiation with the state has not advanced.
